I’m Joseph. I’m a pastor, liturgical scholar, and digital artist and this site is my digital portfolio and shop.
After a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2012, I began work on what would become my first ever print series, The Minimum Bible. My aim was to produce one image which could function as a symbolic interpretation for each book in the Bible. After a year of work, the series was complete.
My work has expanded over the years and more projects took shape, including a very popular series called The Church’s Year, a 12-print series on the Christian liturgical calendar, and another called Pater Noster, a seven-print series on the Lord’s Prayer.
My most recent print series is called SYMBOLUM, twelve graphical posters depicting the twelve articles of faith in the Apostles’ Creed.
I’ve had the great joy over the last decade to partner with churches and individuals to produce commissioned art and I’ve even had the opportunity to illustrate two academic volumes on philosophy and world history.
